Had to pause this movie a few times to snap drawing reference, the colors and compositions are fantastic.
This is the first digital painting I completed in Procreate for iPad. I miss some of the finer control of a Wacom + Photoshop, but it’s definitely powerful and fun.
Rewatched Back To The Future last weekend, still a fantastic movie. I had forgotten most of the specifics since watching it last. Then Huey Lewis and The News came on iTunes shuffle, and I had to open Photoshop and crank this one out.
After watching The Words tonight I felt compelled to paint this striking shot from the movie.
Done in photoshop in about an hour.
I feel this film deserves more recognition than it got, it’s a surprisingly heartfelt story about people and the mistakes they make. If you haven’t seen it, it deserves a look.
